Mappin & Webb P&O Water Jug
A P&O water Jug made by Mappin & Webb in1961. These beautiful and evocative pieces are much sought after and are redolent of the glamour of ocean liners from a different time. The P&O ones were mainly made by Mappin & Webb in silver plate and for obvious reasons had significant durability. This one is in rather good condition with only small losses to the plate and some dents that are usual given the often extreme working conditions. A very lovely thing.
