A Claret Jug and Decanter set. We think that these are most likely by Thomas Webb of Stourbridge and as these have a variety of aggregated design cues we suspect that they may have been exhibition pieces. Outstanding cutting and detail to the body and a notable handle to the Claret Jug. The condition is effectively unused which points to a display only life and makes ageing difficult. However, the high point of exhibition cutting was the 1920s which is our best guess. A very beautiful and rare set
