A Baccarat Night Service Set from the Belle Epoque. This extraordinarily beautiful set is very rare indeed. Comprising a Water Jug, a Liqueur Jug, a Water Bowl and two Glasses on a tray. The set is in a vibrant Sapphire Blue with Gilding and the colour is so unusual we have never seen it before - but it maybe Riviera Blue. We believe the ensemble dates from the Belle Epoque and probably 1900-1914. One glass may be a replacement as it has a Baccarat sticker which places it 1920-35 (pre-etch mark). The pieces are in exceptional condition with no damage and complete gilding. The tray, as should be expected, has some wear to the underside and some gilding loss to top surface. This is consistent with the set being mainly used for display in its lifetime. The tray is 27cm diameter, the Jug 16cm tall and the glasses 11cm tall.
